DeWys Manufacturing Welcomes Two Business Unit Managers to their Management Team
Marne, MI – DeWys Manufacturing, a DeWys Metal Solutions company, is pleased to announce the addition of Eric Vermillion and Matt Shea as their new Business Unit Managers. Eric will oversee the Paint Line and Assembly areas while Matt will manage the production Value Streams. In their new roles they will be reporting to the Operations Manager and responsible for monitoring and improving performance metrics defined within the companies departmental and corporate one-page strategic plans. They will also be evaluating and identifying capacity needs to meet customer demands while staying committed to the success and safety of all stakeholders.
With over 15 years of experience, Eric has a degree in Industrial Finishing Technology as well as work experience within the powder coating field throughout a variety of industries. Working his way from a production engineer, to paint operations manager, to now Business Unit Manager at DeWys, he has gained the knowledge and skills needed to successfully lead the teams to future success and growth. “My hands on experience with building and running paint lines will help give me the tools needed to grow these departments as well as mentor and lead the team.” – Eric V.
Matt received his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in 2015 from the University of Dayton then quickly moved to Austria after graduation to work as a Field Application Engineer alongside a research and development team. After a year of international experience, Matt moved state side where he worked as an Engineering Manager growing their team from 5 to 15. His background in manufacturing and knowledge with sheet metal provide him with the tools and insights needed to be successful in this new role. “DeWys is strategically growing right now, and I look forward to helping navigate through these challenges and opportunities as a team.” – Matt S.
Outside of work they both enjoy fishing in the great outdoors, rooting on their favorite sports teams, or spending quality time with family and friends. The team at DeWys is optimistic about the future and the addition of Eric and Matt make them an essential part of the company’s growth.
