Faq For Metal Fabrication Company

Is There a Minimum Order?

There is no minimum order quantity. We can provide quotes with tiered quantities/pricing so that you can decide the best ordering solution for your company.

Are You a Prototype-Friendly Manufacturer?

Yes. We often work with customers to build prototypes and provide DFM feedback as they work through their design process.

What Are the Typical Lead Times?

Typical production lead time is 4-6 weeks depending on product complexity. DeWys is happy to work with customers and explore options to reduce prototype and production lead times wherever possible.

What Tolerances Can You Hold?

Please see our DFM / design guidelines.

What Files Do You Prefer?

Our team prefers PDF prints, Solidworks, or stp files for CAD.

Do You Source Hardware/Material?

Yes. DeWys can purchase from customer directed sources to incorporate additional components into your fabricated sheet metal assemblies. We can also use the DeWys supply chain team to coordinate purchases through our existing supply chain network. We aim to reduce the number of suppliers you need to oversee. We can be your one-stop shop for sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and contract manufacturing.

How Do You Handle ECNs/Revisions?

We manage revisions through our ISO-approved document control process.
