Continuing a Trajectory of Growth

Over the past several years, DeWys Metal Solutions has experienced significant growth through investments in its people, facilities, and manufacturing capabilities. The company has expanded its footprint, added advanced technologies, strengthened its engineering expertise, and continued to diversify the industries and customers it serves. That growth has been driven by long-term partnerships and a focus on helping customers solve increasingly complex manufacturing challenges while creating new opportunities for employees.

With the company’s 50th anniversary approaching in 2027, the appointment of Katie as President reflects the company’s commitment to building a leadership team capable of supporting that momentum while preserving the people-first culture and customer focus that have defined DeWys since 1977.

A Leader Focused on People and Progress

Katie brings more than 15 years of cross-functional leadership in building products and manufacturing, spanning sales, marketing, operations, and strategy. She most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of National Shelter Products, and before that as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Quality Edge, with earlier leadership roles at Sparks Belting, izzy+, and Steelcase. She holds an MBA from Grand Valley State University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University.

For Katie, stepping into the role is both an honor and a responsibility.
